Our favorite option is the walnut, as it is extremely versatile. Whether needed for a more modern space that requires additional warmth and texture, or a traditional shaker kitchen that demands character, we love how much depth and luxury this wood species adds to any room.
Cherry or hickory are also a great go-to from this line. Both are gorgeous species of wood and we can't help but to be thrilled by the special element a cherry countertop adds to a room. However, because this wood is also traditionally used as a staple for kitchen cabinetry, we love applying this "pop" to an all white space as well. Cherry adds contrast, while giving the space that little "something extra" to make it feel inviting. Hickory is lovely for a more subtle look. We recommend playing up a rustic farmhouse vibe (which everyone is currently so drawn to) with this species.
